Trace The Trend: Zahra Bomber Jacket

We’re tracing the trend (quite literally) of our favourite new style which is available to pre order now – the Zahra Bomber Jacket. Follow the Journey of this jacket – each piece created by hand by our skilled artisan producers in India.

Once the pattern for the artwork is designed, it’s sent to India where the design is transferred onto paper and punched in with a pin following the hand drawn pattern. The design is then transferred onto the fabric which has been stretched over a frame ready for embellishment by dusting powdered chalk over the newly perforated paper.

Using traditional techniques, the beads are applied by hand. The front of the Zahra jacket is beautifully adorned with a floral design. Once the beading is complete, the jacket can then be sewn together.
